In the topsy-turvy world of the Arizona desert. The summer is too hot for a green-leafed plant to survive (although some of my fellow Phoenix bloggers had success with their summer vegetables this year) so we rely on the mild winters to coax food from the ground. Might as well live in the Southern Hemisphere!

I know, so strange. You would have a hard time of it even with a greenhouse/hothouse.
